How to Remove Stains?
First, clean up the original mess. If there is dirt on the carpet dispose of it. Blot to soak up the wetness without rubbing. Blot repeatedly until the carpet is almost dry and the stain is removed. If the stain has already dried on the carpet, the best way to treat this type of stain is to rehydrate it. Apply an organic carpet stain cleaning product specifically formulated for pet stains. To neutralize the odor and spot, you may need to try several different devices. Try using white vinegar to do this. Simply mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with a quart of warm water and spray it on the stain. Allow the mixture to soak for up to 10 minutes and then blot it until the stain is gone and dry. Another method that can try to get rid of pet stains from carpet is to mix a quart of water with an odor and dye free laundry detergent then spray it on the spot. Allow this mixture to soak for up to 10 minutes, then blot, rinse with warm water, and repeat as necessary.
